It was made over thirty years ago,
Sorry to report, the only copies of Sole Survivor on VHS are those taped from TV broadcasts.
It's never had an official release, and apparently hasn't run on television for over ten years,
You can't get it on DVD, it's never been released on VHS, and it doesn't screen on cable,
but everyone remembers "Sole Survivor" (1970)
a made for TV movie starring Vince Edwards, Richard Basehaart and William Shatner.
"Everyone" might be overstating the case;
it's pretty obvious most of these posts are by the same person using different names.

A B-25 bomber is discovered in the middle of the Libyan desert
and an Air Force investigation team is called in to examine it.
The team quickly discovers that it has not been touched since crashing a quarter century earlier.
They also discover the plane's navigator survived and is now an Air Force general.
The problem?
He said the plane went down in the mediterrainian after the captain ordered the crew to bail out.
This story has an interesting supernatural twist.

William Shatner,
aka Capt. James T. Kirk of the "Star Trek" TV series and movies,
is looking for a spokesperson for his new science fiction DVD club.
He's launched an online contest and wants the voting public to select 10 finalists.
Celebrity judges, including Chase Masterson from the cast of the TV series
"Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," will select seven additional finalists.
Shatner will pick the winner, who will be named spokesperson for the
William Shatner Science Fiction DVD Club.
The winner also will receive "a large cash award," according to the contest announcement.
Entrants must create a short video clip that shows why they have what it takes
and submit it to http://shatner.blip.tv/. Deadline for entries is Sept. 30.
Aspiring actors, young filmmakers and budding film critics are encouraged to enter.
"This is an opportunity for new faces and new voices in the science fiction world to be seen and heard,"
Shatner said in a statement Thursday.
"Plus, this is a chance for passionate fans to be the first to discover
the next M. Night Shyamalan or Brandon Routh,
and help propel them into stardom," the 75-year-old actor said.
The "Star Trek" TV series ran from 1966-69. It spawned five spinoff series and 10 films.
