and no "corrections" to your site are necessary. It's been known for some time now that
BluesmanSF, IzJustAName, Lord-Scottsman, CraigSF5 and Just_Loookin are all the same person.

However, beware. There is lots of inaccurate information on his site and you should know he is a user,
not associated with IMDb and information taken from there should be used for entertainment purposes

Also, would you then continue chumming up with MaudBoggins and SnappyPants,
his best friend, if they then commented on ACT1's list that they know for sure those are,
in fact, your "sock" accounts?

You all sound alike, so I am sure you'll get along fine.
It's odd that ACT1 even chose to include commentary by MaudBoggins to "prove"
his inaccurate information. Makes me doubt anything he says or does, now and forever.

The way I figure it, there's just no way one guy would donate that much time
to broadening this website without getting paid for it or being in some way associated with the staff
(you'd think he was related to Col ).
If anything, with all the content he has provided,
I'd imagined he'd be offered a job or get some kind of benefit.
Any evidence pointing to any of these possibilities?

He has a lot of inaccurate information on his site.
Information that would not be there if he was a part of this site. No, he does not work for the site.
He is associated with it in that he is a registered user.
For information, note he just provided an incorrect guess to a question on the Help Board.
If he worked for the site he'd have known the correct answer
or gone and found it before posting an answer (I'd hope).

He lists user names that are in no way connected as being the same person.
They are not. When it was pointed out to him, he did not change it.
Administrators of the site would have know that it's not true and would have corrected it.

Hehe, it seems BluesmanSF is still up to his old tricks.
I remember when his main account was GoodBadNUgly,
BluesmanSF was just an occasional sock he used to back up his own opinions.
There's no point in arguing with this guy, he's been an unwanted unpaid bore for years now.
The sockman will never leave.

Oh yes, I remember GoodBadNUgly.
I was quite new to this site then, so I wasn't aware of Bluesman's many accounts,
but it makes sense that GoodBadNUgly was one of his aliases.
His posts were much more frequent back then;
he was dishing out discipline to other users several times a day,
and the Help board was full of his "don't do this, don't do that, and that's an order" type posts.

IMDb showed the first parts of e-mails during the "accidental" implementation
of the username AKA feature.
This is what some users saw (among other things):
BluesmanSF - AKA: BluesmanSF5
IzJustAName - AKA: CraigSF5-1
JustLoookin - AKA: CraigSF
And CraigSF5 was one of your first accounts.
Denying the obvious is futile.
But even if we all pretend this isn't true,
listing a handful of incorrect names/connections on such a HUGE site
wouldn't be "a lot of" inaccurate information (it would be more like 0.001%).

Part of why the administrators doing so was a bad idea is that it put out inaccurate information.
All those names are not me. As I said, no one, including an administrator, could know that.
So saying so is pure ignorance. Adding 3 or four more inaccurate instances means you're 60% wrong.
Huge site or not, it's not wise to post something inaccurate and when informed,
the site usually removes inaccurate information. So that was a stupid point to make.
If you're implying A1 works here and that his site is inaccurate but large is proof was ridiculous.
The .001 thing is stupid too since he posts here with the same idiotic links
to 'similar' names upon discussions of "socks" often.
Add that having multiple accounts is allowed. I have never posted with two names in a thread
to make it look like others agree with me, which is what a "sock" account is.
The only time other names, that a bunch of simps keep listing as being me,
have appeared in the same thread, it was not me, nor an account associated in any way as me.
But, chime in and join the ignorance if you like. It's only your credibility you lose.

Also, how much better is the site because Act1 posts inaccurate information, over and over?
He's "guessed" as to sock usage and been wrong dozens of times and he's made veiled accusations
by just leaving links and infering that people are abusive when he does not know.
He continually leaves links as answers to questions here
that don't provide answers and mislead folks wasting their time.
He also maintains a site with inaccurate information and refuses to correct it.
Yep...better place indeed.

There are some posters on the Help Board who go above and beyond helping people.
Is there some way we can recognize them for their efforts?
Take this poster, BluesmanSF for example.
He shows true love for all things IMDb by doing his best
to make sure posts are made only on the boards that they belong.
He cares so much, he takes it personally when things are posted where they shouldn't be.
That is true dedication and deserves recognition.
I say, Great Job, BluesmanSF!
Because of you, the Help Board is a much better place and an efficient and productive board

Act has fueled trolling on this board (aimed at me, sometimes) dozens of times
by seemingly backing up accusations of trolling with his lists.
He, until now has implied they are the same person
and this is the first time I've seen him suggest they are simply similar.
To show a list of "similar names," then include text that suggests they are the same person
is different than the (odd) behavior of listing them because they are similar.
He, initially, just listed extra names, under mine, like he does when a user changes names.
I told him of the error and he refuses to change it.
If he's got time to spare to list millions of names, he's got time to rectify something he did in error.
But no, he added to that with all the pasted "discussions," that he seems to think support his twisted
thinking. |
