I have tried to list everyone who has 500+ As it is quite a pain to do, I only update this list once a month at most, so none of the numbers will be up to date all the time. Sockpuppets Creating and using numerous accounts to pretend that separate posts made by the same person originated from different individuals will not be tolerated. We can detect sockpuppet activity and we will revoke access to all accounts involved. Offensive profiles or signatures The content of your board profile (including your biography, URL link and signature) must be within the same guidelines as the your posts: no spamming, obscenities, trolling allowed. If your signature or board profile are deleted or changed by board administrator, consider it a final warning. Further violations will cause your profile to be removed. |

For efficiency and performance reasons the boards database is separate from the user registration database. Boards profiles are only created when users first visit the boards. At profile create time the boards database requests the registration date from the registration database and sometimes that request fails if the database is down or out of capacity to answer in time, hence the empty dates on some profiles. I think there are also a few actions which cause the registration date to be refreshed in the profile, and again, if the registration database does not answer in time, the profile date will become empty. Since it's a relatively rare condition we don't have any specific internal tools to force an update so fixing these at the moment would require software development time which is better spent updating larger problems or adding brand new features, sorry. Surely this constitutes a breach of user confidentiality? I can't believe IMDb even considered this, let alone implemented it. Wed Oct 31 2007 - But if you've submitted a biography or other data and used your own name or email address, this also showed up as an AKA. The boards usernames and data contribution systems are completely separate. Only usernames were included in the AKA display yesterday The only thing displayed as part of this experimental anti-troll feature were previous IMDb IDs.
